FIFA Special Event Fee Update
Effective Thursday, June 18, 2026, PPRs and the FIFA Special Event Fee has been postponed for future reservations and operations.
Prior to the FIFA matches in the Houston region, we anticipated a significant increase in traffic and operational demand associated with one of the world's largest sporting events. To prepare, we implemented a Special Event Fee to support enhanced staffing, operational improvements, and additional resources aimed at providing a positive customer experience during the event period.
As activity levels have developed, demand has not reached the levels originally anticipated. Accordingly, we have adjusted our staffing and operational plans and no longer require the additional resources that supported the Special Event Fee.
We will continue to monitor activity throughout the remaining FIFA events and reserve the right to reinstate special event pricing if operational requirements change.
