Where are you located?
We are less than 20 miles south of Houston and are the fourth largest airport in the Greater Houston area.
What are the hours of the airport and GlobalSelect?
Public airport open 24 hours, seven days a week with services available from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. After hours service is available with advance notice.
What are the hours of the Air Traffic Control Tower?
The tower is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
How long is your runway?
KSGR features an 8,000 foot runway – longer than any runway at Houston Hobby Airport
What planes can you accommodate?
Accommodates small private planes to the largest corporate aircraft, such as the Global Express, Gulfstream, and BBJ 737.
How many take-offs and landings do you have annually?
The runway configuration is capable of handling 268,000 total takeoffs and landings annually
Do you have U.S. Customs services for international flights?
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Service is available at KSGR. Clearing fees and international trash and ramp fees may apply.
International customers can clear CBP with an overflight permit. For more information regarding permits and exemptions, please contact CBP Air Passenger Processing at 281-230-4601.

What type of fuel do you have available?
We offer Shell branded fuels: 100LL and JET-A. In addition, we offer several different fuel discount options. KSGR has Jet and Avgas discounts for based and transient customers; as well as a Jet- A discount program determined by annual fuel purchased.

Do you have rental cars/ground transportation options available?
While in the Houston/Sugar Land area, feel free to use our convenient on-site rental car and ground transportation services. Both Enterprise and Hertz have locations in our terminal.

Let us help you make your overnight stay arrangements while in the Houston/Sugar Land area. We offer preferred hotel rates with several area hotels, across all types of budgets.
Do you have catering services available?
The customer service desk can make catering arrangements to meet almost any need. The airport utilizes both a professional in-flight caterer. In-flight catering requests require at least four hours advanced notice. Please contact 281-275-2400 to request catering.
