FIFA Special Event Fee Update
Effective Thursday, June 18, 2026, PPRs and the FIFA Special Event Fee has been postponed for future reservations and operations. Prior to the FIFA matches in the Houston region, we anticipated a significant increase in traffic and operational demand associated with one of the world's largest sporting events. To prepare, we implemented a Special Event Fee to support enhanced staffing, operational improvements, and additional resources aimed at providing a positive customer experience during the event period.

As activity levels have developed, demand has not reached the levels originally anticipated. Accordingly, we have adjusted our staffing and operational plans and no longer require the additional resources that supported the Special Event Fee.

We will continue to monitor activity throughout the remaining FIFA events and reserve the right to reinstate special event pricing if operational requirements change.

Passenger Amenities

GlobalSelect provides outstanding services and amenities to Sugar Land Regional Airport’s flying passengers. We provide conference rooms for your convenience, along with an executive lounge, and business center. WIFI is also available throughout the terminal and aircraft ramp.

Executive Lounge

A business executive can have a private place to work that includes a desk, TV, sitting area, and complimentary refreshments.

Conference Rooms

The Sugar Land Regional Airport Terminal offer customers a variety of meeting accommodations. These include: Three conference rooms capable of seating 24, 12 and 6 people

Two of the largest conference rooms offer both a wall-mounted flat panel monitor/interactive board and the largest conference room has a ceiling projector

  • Airport also offers the use of a laptop computer and a dry-erase board is available in the smallest conference room

Conference rooms are available for reservation through the customer service desk, or by calling (281) 275-2400. Conference rooms are complimentary for fly-in customers only.

Business Center

Available to all fly in customers, the Business Center is a great place to get your work done or make a phone call.
